Beyond Series
Judgement
Sacrifice
Justice
I started this book series a few years ago but stopped writing it due to the birth of my second child. My love for Raelle and Scylla on the tv show, Motherland: Fort Salem, inspired me to finish the first book, Beyond Judgement.
Beyond Judgement is a paranormal romance about the love between Allie and Eve.

*Sacrifice is one of my current WIP. I’ve decided to post chapters on Wattpad as the story develops. Please note that I’m still working on it. Writing and drafting is a process. Errors are inevitable. Be patient, as I am human. Details may change upon publication. When the story is published, it will be removed from Wattpad. I’ll leave sample chapters up.
Publication date for this book is 2023!
Inspiration for the Beyond Series
I started this book a few years ago, but never got around to finishing it. The main inspiration that helped me finish and continue on with the series is because of the two characters Raelle Collar (Taylor Hickson) and Scylla Ramshorn (Amalia Holm) in the TV show Motherland: Fort Salem. Their on-screen romance propelled me forward in completing the first and second books in this series. I have one more planned book to write for the Beyond Series, but who knows, maybe it won’t be the end! I’ve enjoyed writing and creating in this new-to-me genre.

Inspiration for the Unbreakable Series
The Unbreakable series came about because of my love for an old building in my hometown. It is an historic inn, built in 1841 as a stagecoach stop. Abraham Lincoln was once a guest there. The Archer House was entered on the National Register of Historic Places on March 16, 1976.
It became a Bed and Breakfast when I was little but has since been closed. Fingers crossed; a new owner may re-open it after renovations.
There is a story I heard when I was young about a Gypsy who visited my town. She put a protection spell over us to keep bad storms from destroying our town. As a young girl I was often frightened by strong storms. My mother would tell me this story and it would calm me. I decided to put my own twist to it and involve it into this series. I’ve included the story below.
Legend of the Gypsy Queen
It may be just a story, but two things are certain – the mural is an eye-catching work of art and to date Marshall has never been hit by a major tornado. One of the murals in Marshall touches on the interesting, if somewhat sketchy in detail, story of the Gypsy Queen. In the late 19th and well into 20th century, according to local lore, Gypsies or Roma, as they called themselves, often passed through Clark County and other areas of Illinois. In those days it was not unusual for even the most “decent” folks to fear and mistreat gypsies. But for whatever reason, the citizens of the county, and Marshall in particular, were kind to gypsies. In gratitude, the Gypsy Queen, Miranda Cooper, placed a “good” curse on the community, saying that they would never be destroyed by a tornado. Miranda Cooper died in 1934 and her stone can be found in the Marshall Cemetery.
